Service Description

A simple blood test from 10 weeks of pregnancy. Detects trisomy 21 (Down syndrome), trisomy 18 (Edwards syndrome) and trisomy 13 (Patau syndrome). There is an option to add in the gender of the baby. Suitable for single and twin pregnancies. Appointment length 30 min Results in 3-5 working days. Please note this test is not suitable if: 1. you have cancer or if you yourself have chromosomal abnormalities including Trisomy 13, 18 and 21 2. you are carrying more than two babies 3. you have in the last 12 months had an organ transplant, received stem cell therapy or immunotherapy 4. you have in the last 3 months had a blood transfusion
