The Harmony test identifies 99% (but not all) of the babies with trisomy 21, 98% of babies with trisomy 18 and 90% of babies with trisomy 13.
Please note you should have had a scan to check the pregnancy is viable before attending the appointment. We do not have scanning facilities.
Suitable single and twin pregnancies and whether you conceived naturally or through fertility treatments.
You should not have the tests if:
if you have cancer or if you yourself have chromosomal abnormalities including Trisomy 13, 18 and 21
if you are carrying more than two babies
if you have in the last 12 months had an organ transplant, received stem cell therapy or immunotherapy
if you have in the last 3 months had a blood transfusion
